How to Measure Beard Oil Bottles for Labels

Two bottles sold as 2 oz beard oil bottles can have different heights, diameters and shoulders. Measure the bottle you will fill before designing its label. A short paper-template check is easier than resizing a completed design after ordering.

Take two measurements

First measure the height of the straight-sided labeling area, excluding the shoulder and curved base. Next wrap a strip of paper around the bottle, mark where it meets and measure that length flat. This gives you the circumference for evaluating a wrap-style layout. Decide whether you want a gap or overlap before preparing the artwork.

Choose a front label or a wrap

A smaller front label leaves more bottle visible and keeps the main branding in one view. A wider wrap provides room for additional wording but needs careful seam placement. Keep essential artwork away from the meeting edges and test the orientation on an upright bottle.

Compare the available sizes

CrispLabelCo’s dedicated beard oil product offers 1.5 × 2 inch labels. The beard-product range includes 1.5 × 3.75 inch labels, round balm-label options and a 3 × 4 inch option. These sizes are choices to measure against, not promises of fit for a particular bottle volume.

Plan for oil exposure

Matte BOPP film resists water and oil and has no added laminate layer. Clean and dry the outside after filling; oil under the adhesive can undermine contact. Test the printed label with your bottle and formulation before labeling the complete batch.

Keep each scent or product on its own roll. Orders start at 100 labels per design and size, so you can test a new grooming line without buying a large run for every variation.
